This is the best campsite I have stayed at. Have been coming here for a few years, and now seen the new improvements. The space and peace and tranquillity is wonderful. Jules is fantastic. Gives so much of his time to everyone. I am so pleased to have found this gem of a place. Now looking forward to booking again soon. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for a fabulous four days. The site was magnificent, with superb views of the Mendips, a lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and owner, lovely hot showers and excellent campfires. We would definitely come again.

We have just been to this site for 3 nights and let me say it was the best 3 nights at any campsite I have been to. What a gem this place is. The staff were great - helped in any way they could from putting you where you would like to go to Dave making goals for my kids to play football and Laura helping others as they come in and Jules taking kids round on his quad collecting wood for camp fires. When you see the kids faces trying to toast their marshmallows, you know you have found a gem of a site on leaving. Kids did not want to go. They made friends and played all day. This site is just a short walk to Cheddar and the caves and the Mendip Hills. What a fab time we all had and will return very soon. The showers on this site are amazing - better then mine at home. So a big thank you Jules and the team we will see you all soon Ps we are on the last day of a 3 night stay on a big commercial site they will never have what you have. Many thanks, Naz

Hi Jules, just wanted to say thank you for our fantastic stay last week-end. You have a refreshing approach to running your campsite site making it amongst the most unique I’ve stayed at. Great campsite for a get together had a great one night stay with a small group of lads with beers and fantastic camp fire.

Us and our friends took our camper vans to this wonderful site, we all had a lovely chilling and relaxing weekend. Can't wait to go again and the staff were really helpful and polite. Highly recommended.

We stayed for one night on Saturday 26th July with friends who had stayed here once before and for my very first time camping (at the ripe old age of 48!) it was THE BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! this I put down to the company (my gorgeous fiance Craig & lovely friends Kev & Flo) the weather (wall to wall sunshine!) the location (so close to Cheddar, it's just a short stroll away) and last but not least Jules and the fabulous laid back Petruth Paddocks with camp fires & BBQs and loads of people just enjoying the outdoors and having fun!! Will definitely be back!

Me and a group of friends come to this camp site for a chilled out couple of days camping. We were all more than happy with the site. We had a brilliant time. The team there checked on us every night seeing if we were all okay which was reassuring with us being only teenagers many places wouldn't take us. The camp fires that you can get there just tops it off giving a really camping feel. Well recommended with cheddar town just a walk away.

I've now been to Petruth a few times and can safely say it's a special place with a unique character, the perfect place to chill out by the campfire with friends or family, and that's all you really need! Really friendly, helpful team who make you feel so welcome…I highly recommend it!

What an amazing weekend we've just had at Petruth Paddocks! Great camp site. Great showers. Great pizzas from Barefoot pizza co. Great camp fires. Great host. Thanks Jules you're a star.

Just got back from a brilliant weekend at Petruth Paddocks. It's so lovely to arrive at a campsite and be given a warm welcome and not receive a list of rules. Great being able to have a campfire and take our dog. We will certainly be back!

Just got back from a great family break. This campsite is THE most friendly place that I have ever stayed and they really couldn't do enough for you continually checking if we needed anything and you really felt that they really did want you to have a great time. So friendly and easy going. Kids loved the rides on the log truck! We all had a fab time thanks to all. The Griffiths (part of the Benden-Osborne family).

Jut spent the weekend here with friends, really lovely place, the rain Saturday night didn't stop jules coming out on his quad bike and making sure we all had everything we needed. Logs delivered to your tent and even a few camping chairs as we didn't have enough! And he even helped us find a lovely man to have our car fixed. Really chilled campsite where they let you do as you please (within reason obviously) and the showers!!! Better than some hotels I've stayed in. All in all a wonderful site. Keep up the good work team

This campsite is a real gem - beautiful location and lovely folk. BAREFOOT STONEBAKED PIZZA COMPANY are looking forward to firing up our wood-fired oven and cooking some tasty pizzas here on Saturday. Available for campers to buy from 7pm Gill and Rob

Thank you all at Petruth for a lovely weekend, the weather was mostly miserable but the lovely hosts more than made up for it. Highlights included the free quad bike rides for the kids courtesy of Jules doing his log deliverys and yummy marshmallows toasted over the log fire. We will definitely be back. Absolutely super campsite!

Just spent 4 stress free days here for the UK Live Festival. By far the best campsite we've ever been to. Toilet and shower blocks were kept nice. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful and there's loads of room for the kids to run around. We had a huge pitch compared to other sites we've been to and the atmosphere was awesome with campfires, happy campers and music aplenty. Well worth the money. Looking forward to booking again for the summer. Thanks
